Challenge: To create an uncomplicated way for attendees to get all information about the event

Established in 1920, ITB is the oldest technology-oriented university in Indonesia. Continuing its value in contributing to Indonesian and world’s education growth, ITB was proud to host the 1st International Conference on Data and Software Engineering (ICoDSE 2014). This event gathered researchers and professionals in the domains of Data and Software Engineering, to present and discuss high-quality research results and outcomes in their fields. To support the success of this event, ITB needed a platform to make it easier for attendees to get all information they need in an uncomplicated way.

Solution: A well-structured mobile app that can integrate community by making share easier

Suitmedia came up with a solution by developing ICoDSE 2014 Mobile Application. By using this app, users can view detailed information about the event, all just a tap away. We delivered a high quality and impressive UX to the users, an experience they have full control of. Users could get a personal reminder about the event’s schedule; get information about the speakers; and they were able to download & view insights about the discussion topics. 

It is more important today than ever to make an app that is “share friendly”. That’s why we built this app with a feature to make the attendees contribute and give feedback to the event in real-time, and to allow them to share to their social media. When social sharing is easy, it becomes an integral part of users and makes the app more interesting and engaging. In a word, this mobile application has given a significant influence in increasing engagement in the community and it has become one of the recipes for the event successfulness.
